Philosophy

The Department is fully dedicated to the training of young men and women for intellectual, moral and professional excellence as a prerequisite to living a fully human and fulfilled life in a contemporary pluralistic world in general and to the promotion of national goals of industrialization and self-reliance needful for nudging the Nigerian economy towards a decent future.

Objective

The objective of the Department is to collaborate and maintain a centre of Industrial Studies that will be a reservoir of the state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities and at the same time to inculcate love of country and ethical standards that can meet effectively the requirements for economic and social development responsive to, and in consonance with National goals and aspirations.
